weLearn Newsletter – October 2009

Hope all have successfully jumpstarted the new school year. To keep students on track all yearlong is most parents’ desire. To succeed in school and life, students need ongoing opportunities to learn and practice essential skills. This is exactly why parents and students turn to weLearn.

What’s New

We have been facing the transportation challenge. Thanks to the great support from our parents who have been very kind and willing to help us solve the pick-up issues. Yang Chen , Jonathan’s mom will pick up students at Meadow at 3pm on Tuesdays. Betty Zhang , Leo’s mom will pick up students at Sonoma Mtn. at 2:50pm on Thursdays.

I’m exited to announce that we are growing both in campus and outside campus. As demand for Chinese continues to increase rapidly, we added 2 new classes. Further, we are offering Chinese classes at Liberty School , Grant School , and River Montessori (a new charter school, Montessori in the public school setting).

Important Dates
10/12 Columbus Day - weLearn will be opened as usual
10/31 Halloween – Have a safe and fun Halloween!
11/1 Daylight Saving Time Ends
